Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Photographer. As a Photographer, you will play a vital role in capturing the moments that define our Department’s activities, events, and emergency responses. Your photographs will serve as important documentation, promotional materials, and educational resources for our community.
Responsibilities:
- Attend and document Fire-Rescue Department events, including training sessions, community outreach programs, fundraisers, and public education events.
- Be available to respond to emergency incidents alongside the Fire-Rescue Department personnel to capture real-time images of our responders in action.
- Capture high-quality, compelling photographs that showcase the dedication, teamwork, and professionalism of our Firefighters.
- Edit and organize photographs for use in various mediums, including social media, website, print materials, and presentations.
- Collaborate with the Fire-Rescue Department leadership and staff to identify key moments and initiatives that should be documented.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with photography techniques and equipment.
- Experience in event photography, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in dynamic situations.
- Availability to attend events and emergency responses, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A passion for community service and a commitment to supporting the mission of the Fire-Rescue Department.
