Help keep the community clean and beautiful!
The application deadline for the Community Litter Clean-Up Program was April 17, 2023 at 5:00 p.m.
As part of the Town’s initiatives towards Earth Day on April 22, the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield reminds local community based not-for-profit organizations of the annual community litter clean-up program.
The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield offers a monetary incentive to local not-for-profit organizations to remove litter from the roadsides and ditches within the Town. In return, each of these not-for-profit organizations will receive financial assistance to recognize their contributions in helping to keep the community clean and beautiful.
Local community based not-for-profit organizations are eligible to be paid a donation of $200 per kilometer for cleaning both sides of roadsides and ditches with priority given to Brittain Road (NEW), Campbell Road (NEW), Colonel Nase Boulevard, Inglewood Drive, Nerepis Road, River Valley Drive and Woolastook Drive.
As a minimum, 1 kilometer of roadway will be assigned to the organization, and must be cleaned prior to payment.
Application deadline: Monday, April 17, 2023 @ 5:00 p.m.
