Private Garbage

Private Garbage Collection

Garbage collection services for Ward 1 residents in the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield are handled privately. It is the responsibility of homeowners to either bring garbage to the landfill or contact a private contractor for regular waste pick-up. Currently an area contractor, Trash-It, offers regular waste pick-up.

Contact Trash-It at (506) 635-8458

Residents may also choose to personally transport waste to the nearby Crane Mountain Landfill site. A waste drop-off, a compost drop-off, and blue bin recycling are located at the Landfill’s public drop-off near the scale house. To access the facility, use Exit 90 or follow River Valley Drive to the facility near Highway 7.
