Summer Students (Works Department) - 2 positions

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield is currently seeking two (2) summer students.

Salary:$13.00/hour
Hours: 40 hours/week (8:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.)
Earliest start date: As soon as available until August 26, 2022

Requirements:

  1. Supply own steel toed work boots
  2. All new employees, as a condition of employment, are required to show proof of full vaccination against COVID-19. Any individual who presents and substantiates a valid legal justification for exemption from this paragraph on the basis of grounds listed under the New Brunswick Human Rights Code will be accommodated.
  3. Valid Class 5 driver’s licence
  4. Education: Grade 12 or higher

Preferences:

  1. Ability to operate small power tools, lawn mowers (ride-on and push)
  2. Ability to stand for long durations
  3. Ability to work with others
  4. Ability to work alone
  5. Ability to work from written instructions
  6. Valid Traffic Control Person certificate
  7. Valid First Aid Training and CPR training
