Virtual information sessions for Grand Bay-Westfield Ward 2 local government by-election candidates

On January 1, 2023, as part of the provincial local governance reform process, the new local government of Grand Bay-Westfield will be formed. It will include the current Town of Grand Bay-Westfield (Ward 1) and a portion of the Local Service District (LSD) of Westfield West (Ward 2) focused on areas along and off Brittain and Campbell Road.

The election for Ward 2 will be held on Monday, November 28 with voting only in the area of Ward 2 along the Brittain and Campbell Roads.

John Enns-Wind, Chief Administrative Officer for the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield will provide an overview of the roles of Mayor and Council and relevant governance information.

Dates: Wednesday, September 28, 2022 or Tuesday, October 4, 2022
Time: 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. for each session

For the September 28 session, RSVP by Tuesday, September 27 at 12:00 noon.
For the October 4 session, RSVP by Monday, October 3 at 12:00 noon.

Participants must be residents of Ward 2.

Once participants RSVP, they will be sent a Zoom link for their registered session.

Questions can be asked during the sessions.

A recording will be available to view on the Town’s YouTube channel, following the sessions.
