Our group consists of: Mike Burley, a veteran of many popular East Coast bands, who have opened for such luminaries as Randy Bacjman and Creedence Clearwater Revival, playing guitar and bass Masa Kikuchi from Japan, who has studied Irish culture and music with Comhaltas for years and plays accordion, bodhran, whistle, flute and uilleann pipes. Keith Facey, who plays Celtic bouzouki and sings. We perform at shows, festivals and Highland Games all over Eastern Canada.
Good Timing – Good Timing is a Folk/Light Rock Duo composed of Bill Toner (Guitar, Vocals, etc.) and Don Leblanc (Bass, Guitar, Vocals). Bill Toner had been singing and playing guitar for many years when he moved to Grand Bay-Westfield over a decade ago. He’d been a long-time mainstay of the Celtic Bands “HATband”, “Different Folk” and currently “Fingals Rant”, and was also well-known in the Fredericton area as a solo performer of 70’s soft rock. It wasn’t until his Grand Bay-Westfield debut that his long-time quest for a compatible bass player with Don LeBlanc was successful thus “Good Timing” was born. Don LeBlanc has played guitar, bass, and sang lead vocals and harmonies in several different local bands and his current project includes the 70’s rock duo “Solid Gold”. Don’s a frequent host of Open Mics in the Saint John area. It was at an Open Mic in Grand Bay-Westfield that he encountered Bill who introduced him to the “dark side” that is Folk Music. Don embraces it fully and incorporates his Rock roots to solidify an energy-filled fun performance of toe tapping sing–along music which is “Good Timing”.
