Motorists are advised to use caution at the intersection of River Valley Drive and Colonel Nase Boulevard. There is currently a malfunction causing the lights to flash intermittently, without pedestrians activating the buttons.
Additionally, the crosswalk lights near the intersection of River Valley Drive and Station Street remain out of service.Motorists are reminded to watch and stop for pedestrians at crosswalks.
The contractor for the crosswalk lights, Roadway Systems Limited, has been contacted.
Orange community crosswalk flags are available for pedestrian use on each side of this crosswalks.
The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
