The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Community Vitality Committee is accepting applications for volunteers.
The purpose of the Committee is to:
Increase social interactions for individuals and families;
Build community pride;
Develop welcoming experiences to support inclusive communities; and
Support truth and reconciliation with Indigenous communities.
Annual activities include, and not limited to: Family Day, Volunteer Appreciation, Bike (Bicycle Safety) Rodeo, Canada Day, Fall Fest, Mayor’s Tree Lighting, and other community events.
Volunteers may participate as a Committee Member (attend monthly meetings and supports year-round planning and decision-making) or Event Volunteer (assists with specific events including planning, set-up, and on-site support).
How to Apply
Online: Residents interested in serving on the Community Vitality Committee, are asked to submit an application on the Town’s website by visiting HERE.
In-Person: Paper copies of the application form are also available at the Town Office:
