The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield remains committed to its strategic priority of community vitality.
The Town has received funding in part from the Government of Canada’s New Horizons for Seniors Program.
The funds, totaling $23,333.00, will be used to improve accessibility and usage to the current space for seniors in the River Valley Room of the Grand Bay-Westfield Community Centrum. The funds will also be used to improve social and development programs for seniors, as well as intergenerational programming within the community.
The Program is a federal grants and contributions program whose goal is to support projects that help improve the well-being of seniors, and foster social inclusion and engagement in their communities.
