The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield remains committed to its strategic priority of Community Vitality.

The Town’s Age-Friendly Committee in partnership with the Centre for Innovation and Research in Aging (CIRA), will be hosting a presentation on proactive care of persons with dementia – relating to aging in place. This presentation by CIRA will focus on PassiveAware, see details below.

Location: Brundage Point River Centre – 4 Ferry Road, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB

Everyone welcome. Registration is not required.

About PassiveAware
PassiveAware is a form of passive monitoring technology. Tags are placed on things in the home that older adults use to complete their activities of daily living. Through the connected app, informal caregivers can check on the movement of the tagged items, as well as the temperature and humidity in the home.
