Flags at the Town Office (609 River Valley Drive) and the former Village of Westfield Office (293 Nerepis Road) are being flown at half-mast to honour former Councillor and Mayor, R. Kevin Thorne, who passed away on May 5, 2024.
R. Kevin Thorne served 3 years on the Village of Westfield Council as well as 9 years as the Village of Westfield Mayor.
Flags will remain at half-mast until Monday, May 13, 2024.
The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield extends our appreciation for R. Kevin Thorne’s dedication and commitment to the community.
