Town of Grand Bay-Westfield approves community grant funding for spring 2024

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield remains committed to its strategic priority of community vitality.

At a Council meeting on May 27, 2024, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Council approved $6,000.00 in community grant funding for spring 2024 to the following recipients:

River Valley Coins Association Unity Park Coin Project $300.00
River Valley Middle School Soccer Field Seating Project $900.00
River Valley Middle School Home and School Ball Hockey Court Project $900.00
Royal Canadian Legion Bayview Branch 22 Veterans Banner Project $500.00
St. Augustine’s Garden Committee Memorial Garden Project $850.00
Westfield and Inglewood Schools Soap Box Derby Project $900.00

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Community Grant Committee consists of:
Danielle Timmons (resident appointed by Council);
Councillor Stephanie McIntosh Lawrence; and
Rick Adams, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Recreation Programs Coordinator.
