Town of Grand Bay-Westfield approves community grant funding for fall 2024

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield remains committed to its Strategic Priority of Community Vitality.

At a Council meeting on October 28, 2024, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Council approved $6,000 in community grant funding for fall 2024, to the following recipients:

BGC River Valley Youth Centre Your Head Project $1,000
Inglewood School Equipping the Community Project $1,000
River Valley Middle School Football Uprights Project $1,000
River Valley Middle School Home and School Beach Volleyball Court Sand Project $1,000
Royal Canadian Legion Bayview Branch 22 Seven Feathers Indigenous Banners $350
St. Augustine’s Garden Committee Memorial Garden Project $650
YMCA of Southwestern New Brunswick Summer Camp Access Program $1,000
Total $6,000

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Community Grant Committee consists of:
Danielle Timmons (resident appointed by Council);
Councillor Stephanie McIntosh Lawrence; and
Rick Adams, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Recreation Programs Coordinator.
