Town adds first Electric Vehicle to its fleet

Published: May 30, 2024 @ 2:00 p.m.

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield remains committed to its Strategic Priority of Infrastructure and Climate Adaptation.

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield recently welcomed its very first Electric Vehicle to our Public Works Department fleet.

At a Council Meeting of April 22, 2024, Town Council approved the purchase of this vehicle. To view the Meeting, visit HERE.

This vehicle will replace an older vehicle.

In addition to the environmental benefits, the savings realized by purchasing a slightly used vehicle, as well as the savings on fuel and maintenance, make this purchase more cost effective than purchasing a traditional gas-powered vehicle.
