Special weather statement in effect (snow): April 4-6, 2024

There is currently a Special Weather Statement in effect for our region.

Multi-day significant snowfall event beginning Thursday morning.

Locations: New Brunswick.

Potential snowfall amounts: 10 to 25 cm, except possibly higher amounts in northeastern areas.

Timing: beginning Thursday morning (April 4, 2024) and continuing into Saturday (April 6, 2024).

Remarks: The snow is likely to be very wet and heavy in nature. This, along with blustery easterly winds, may cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur. Travel delays can be expected with this system. Rain may mix in at times along southern areas.
