The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield remains committed to its strategic priority of Infrastructure & Climate Adaptation.

Two (2) solar-powered flashing LED stop signs have been installed at the intersection of Inglewood Drive and Epworth Park Road.

The installation of the flashing LED stop signs will increase visibility of the signs at this intersection.

Background

At a Council meeting on February 21, 2023, Town Council approved Town Administration to purchase two (2) solar-powered flashing LED stop signs, for $4,543.88 plus shipping, to be installed at the intersection of Inglewood Drive and Epworth Park Road.

This intersection has seen a number of accidents over the years. In 2013, the intersection was reviewed by Englobe Corp. This resulted in advance stop ahead signs being installed, along with red reflective strips on the posts, to increase the visibility of the stop signs.
