Any person who is a resident of Grand Bay-Westfield (for at least 6 months prior to election day) and is at least 18 years of age can run for Grand Bay-Westfield Town Council. Grand Bay-Westfield Council has 6 elected seats including the Mayor.
Elections typically take place every 4 years. Individuals wanting to run for Town Council must submit an application form to formally announce their candidacy. This form, information for prospective candidates, and a candidate nomination kit are available here.
