Royal Canadian Legion Bayview Branch 22 unveils memorial monuments at Veterans Peace Park

On Saturday, August 17, 2024, Royal Canadian Legion Bayview Branch 22 unveiled five (5) memorial monuments at the Grand Bay-Westfield Veterans Peace Park in recognition of World War I, World War 2, Korean and Afghanistan Wars, Peacekeepers and Those Who Served.

The Legion received over 160 requests of names to be engraved on the monuments.

These monuments acknowledge the sacrifice of past and present Veterans. The Legion extends appreciation to everyone who attended the Monument Unveiling Ceremony.
