Reporting property damage caused by snow and ice control operations (2022-2023 winter season)

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield is requesting residents notify the Town if their property has been damaged, as a result of snow and ice control operations, during the 2022-2023 winter season.

The Town will investigate the claim, and repair as required.

At a Council meeting on June 13, 2022, Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Council unanimously approved the transition of contracted snow and ice control operations to an in-house model. During the week of April 11-14, 2023, the Town’s Public Works Department will commence Phase 1 of the transition, by learning the changing of winter fleet to summer fleet, in partnership with AVL Construction Group Inc.
