The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield is pleased to announce the installation of five (5) new public Level 2 Electric Vehicle (EV) charging stations, made possible through funding from the Aviva Canada Charged for Change Program, presented in partnership with Earth Day Canada.
The 5 new charging stations are now operational the following locations:
1 at the Brundage Point River Centre, 4 Ferry Road. This supplements the existing Level 2 charging station at this location.
and
4 near the Saint John Transit bus stop adjacent to the River Valley Community Centre, 741 River Valley Drive.
The EV charging stations rate is $1.50 per hour.
This initiative supports the Town’s Strategic Priority of Infrastructure and Climate Adaptation and aligns with the Community Climate Adaptation Plan, aimed at enhancing sustainability and environmental responsibility in the region.
