1. CALL TO ORDER

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Planning Advisory Committee met for a regular meeting on Monday, November 2, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. with Chair, Ralph Stevens presiding.

2. RECORD OF ATTENDANCE

Member not in attendance was Jim Burke.

3. PLANNING ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES OF OCTOBER 19, 2015

Seconded by Chyann Kirby. Carried.

4. REGULAR COUNCIL MINUTES OF OCTOBER 13, 2015

“…moved by Theresa Gordon to receive and file the Regular Council Minutes of October 13, 2015 ….”

Seconded by Ron Daigle. Carried.

7. APPLICATION FOR TENTATIVE SUBDIVISION APPROVAL
(RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL) RE: CARMELLA & LAURIE MELANSON – BRANDY POINT ROAD
(A) DEVELOPMENT OFFICER’S REPORT DATED OCTOBER 29, 2015

Applicants were not present and no one was present speaking in favor of or against this Application.

“…moved by Chyann Kirby that the Planning Advisory Committee recommend to Council the acceptance of $4,857.24 money in lieu of Land for Public Purposes (cash, money order, certified cheque or debit) for the purposes of creating one new building lot out of PID No. 30180681 on Brandy Point Road, and recommend Assent to the Final Subdivision Plan showing two parcels of Public Street fronting both lots 15-01 and 15-02 to be amended from the Tentative Subdivision Plan, Laurie J. Melanson Subdivision, as prepared by Hughes Surveyors & Consultants Ltd. dated July 3, 2015;

with approval of final Subdivision Plan to be subject to:

a) payment of $4,857.24 (cash, money order, certified cheque or debit) for Money in lieu of Land for Public Purposes;
b) recording of two parcels identified as Public Street along the frontage of the lot(s) to meet the boundary of the existing 4.57 m wide Municipal Services Easement (Plan No. 19518472);
c) recording of the Civic Number 81 on the Final Subdivision Plan, for the creation of Lot 15-01….”

Seconded by Cllr. Bev Day. Carried.
