1. CALL TO ORDER

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Planning Advisory Committee met for a regular meeting on Monday, January 19, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. with Vice-Chair, Chyann Kirby presiding.

2. RECORD OF ATTENDANCE

All Members were present with the exception of Chair, Ralph Stevens.

“…moved by Jim Burke to excuse Chair, Ralph Stevens with cause….”

Seconded by Cllr. Bev Day. Carried.

3. PLANNING ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 17, 2014

“…moved by Cllr. Bev Day to accept as presented the November 17, 2014 Planning Advisory Committee Minutes….”

Seconded by Theresa Gordon. Carried.

4. REGULAR COUNCIL MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 10, 2014, NOVEMBER 24, 2014 AND DECEMBER 8, 2014

“…moved by Ron Daigle to receive and file the Regular Council Minutes of November 10, 2014, November 24, 2014 and December 8, 2014….”

Seconded by Cllr. Bev Day. Carried.

5. ELECTION OF OFFICERS

Cllr. Bev Day took the Chair for the Election of Officers for 2015 and called three times for nominations for Chair, with one nomination.

“…Chyann Kirby moved to nominate Ralph Stevens for Office of Chair….”

Seconded by Jim Burke. Nomination accepted.

For the record, Ralph Stevens advised that should he be nominated, he would be willing to let his name stand for the Office of Chair.

Cllr. Bev Day called three times for nominations for Vice-Chair, with one nomination.

“… Jim Burke moved to nominate Chyann Kirby for Office of Vice-Chair….”

Seconded by Alex Calvin. Nomination accepted.

Newly elected Vice-Chair, Chyann Kirby, resumed the Office of Chair and presided over the meeting.

6. DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST

None.

7. REMARKS FROM THE CHAIR

None.

8. DEVELOPMENT OFFICER’S MEMO DATED JANUARY 15, 2015
RE: DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST FORM

“…moved by Cllr. Bev Day to receive and file Development Officer’s Memo dated January 15, 2015 Re: Declaration of Conflict of Interest Form….”

Seconded by Jim Burke. Carried.
9. DEVELOPMENT OFFICER’S MEMO DATED JANUARY 15, 2015
RE: INDEX LIST OF PAC ITEMS FOR 2014

“…moved by Cllr. Bev Day that the Planning Advisory Committee forward to Council the accompanying Index List of Planning Advisory Committee Items considered during 2014, for their reference and information…”

Seconded by Ron Daigle. Carried

10. ADJOURNMENT

“…moved by Jim Burke and seconded by Alex Calvin to adjourn….” at 8:05 p.m.
