1. CALL TO ORDER

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Planning Advisory Committee met for a regular meeting on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 8:03 p.m. with Chair, Ralph Stevens presiding.

2. RECORD OF ATTENDANCE

All Members were present with the exception of Jim Burke and Theresa Gordon.

Seconded by Alex Calvin. Carried.

3. PLANNING ADVISORY COMMITTEE MINUTES OF NOVEMBER 2, 2015

“…moved by Ron Daigle to accept as presented the November 2, 2015 Planning Advisory Committee Minutes….”

Seconded by Cllr. Bev Day. Carried.

4. REGULAR COUNCIL MINUTES OF OCTOBER 26, 2015, NOVEMBER 9, 2015, NOVEMBER 23, 2015, AND DECEMBER 14, 2015

“…moved by Chyann Kirby to receive and file the Regular Council Minutes of October 26, 2015, November 9, 2015, November 23, 2015 and December 14, 2015….”

Seconded by Alex Calvin. Carried.
5.ELECTION OF OFFICERS

Cllr. Bev Day took the Chair for the Election of Officers for 2016 and called three times for nominations for Chair, with one nomination.

Seconded by Ron Daigle. Nomination accepted.
Cllr. Bev Day called three times for nominations for Vice-Chair, with one nomination.

“… Cllr. Bev Day moved to nominate Chyann Kirby for Office of Vice-Chair….”

Seconded by Alex Calvin. Nomination accepted.

Newly elected Chair, Ralph Stevens, resumed the Office of Chair and presided over the meeting.

6.DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST

None.

7. REMARKS FROM THE CHAIR

The Chair requested Item # 10 be added to the Agenda Re: Town Manager’s Memo Dated January 14, 2016, 2016 PAC General Operating Budget, thereby making Item # 11 Adjournment.

8. DEVELOPMENT OFFICER’S MEMO DATED JANUARY 12, 2016
RE: DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST FORM

“…moved by Cllr. Bev Day to receive and file Development Officer’s Memo dated January 12, 2016 Re: Declaration of Conflict of Interest Form….”

Seconded by Ron Daigle. Carried.

9. DEVELOPMENT OFFICER’S MEMO DATED JANUARY 12, 2016
RE: INDEX LIST OF PAC ITEMS FOR 2015

“…moved by Cllr. Bev Day that the Planning Advisory Committee forward to Council the accompanying Index List of Planning Advisory Committee Items considered during 2015, for their reference and information…”

10. TOWN MANAGER’S MEMO DATED JANUARY 14, 2016
RE: 2016 PAC GENERAL OPERATING BUDGET
