The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield extends congratulations to local residents Cory Ryan and Grand Bay-Westfield Deputy Fire Chief Doug McLean, as recipients of The King Charles III Coronation Medal.
On January 15, 2025, a ceremony was held for recipients at the Brundage Point River Centre, Grand Bay-Westfield.
To eligible for this honour, person(s) must have made a significant contribution to Canada or to a particular province, territory, region or community of Canada, or have made an outstanding achievement abroad that brings credit to Canada.
Medals were presented to recipients by The Honourable Brenda Murphy, Lieutenant Governor of New Brunswick and John Williamson, Member of Parliament, New Brunswick Southwest.
