On September 25, 2022, a gate was installed at the Veterans Peace Park in honour of Veterans.

The Legion extends appreciation to Gary Crosby (gate artist with Darkwood Carving in Oromocto) as well as all Veterans Peace Park Committee members, for their assistance with the installation of the gate.

“The Legion is proud to announce the last phase of the Veterans Peace Park is complete with the installation of the gate. The vision of the Legion for the Veterans Peace Park is to create an atmosphere of peace and reflection, for the community of Grand Bay-Westfield and visitors year-round.” – Cory Ryan, Royal Canadian Legion Bayview Branch 22 Vice President.
