TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1. All bids shall be submitted on the bid form supplied by the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield. Link to Relevant form below.
2. BIDS SHALL BE IN A SEALED ENVELOPE CLEARLY SHOWING THE BIDDER’S NAME AND TENDER NUMBER ON THE FRONT OF THE ENVELOPE AND ADDRESSED AS FOLLOWS:

3. Submissions must be received at the Town Office, 609 River Valley Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield not later than February 1, 2024 at 11:00 a.m.
4. Bidders shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their bids in the manner and time prescribed. Only one bid per person or entity is permitted.
5. All bids shall either be mailed or delivered personally to the office of the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield whereupon they will be dated and time stamped. BIDS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED BY FAX OR EMAIL. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure their bid is in the possession of the staff member on or before the latest time stated in the tender call documents. A tender shall be deemed to have been received when the envelope has been stamped with the time and date of receipt.
6. Bids received after the time and date specified shall be rejected.
7. Information concerning the Truck and/or for viewing of the Truck is available from the Grand Bay-Westfield Fire-Rescue Department, 609 River Valley Drive or by calling Deputy Chief Adam Read at (506) 738-6429 or by email at aread@towngbw.ca
8. The Truck is located at the Grand Bay-Westfield Fire Station 1, 615 River Valley Drive and will be sold on an “as is, where is ” basis. Successful bidder will be responsible for the Truck. The Truck is required to be removed within 2 weeks of awarding the tender.
10. The successful bidder will be required to pay HST on this purchase. The offered price shall INCLUDE tax. Provision will be made to specify the amount of HST in the proposed price.
11. Payment for the Truck shall be made by Certified Cheque payable to the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield.
12. The Town reserves the right to accept offers in its best interest.
13. The above Truck is available for purchase on or about February 2, 2024.
14. THE HIGHEST OR ANY BID NOT NECESSARILY ACCEPTED.
15. Bids will be opened publicly in the Grand Bay Room, Grand Bay-Westfield Centrum, 609 River Valley Drive immediately following the Tender Closing.
16. All bids shall be valid for 30 days from the Tender Closing date.
