CONTEST RULES

1. Contest is open to bakers of all ages.

2. All components of the pie must be made from scratch and by the registrant.

3. All pies must be apple pies.

4. One (1) entry per person. Pies should arrive between 11:00 a.m. and 12:15 p.m. and be brought to the Pie Contest Table. Judging will begin at 12:30 p.m.

Pies will be judged on appearance, flavour, and creativity.

Prizes will be awarded to the First, Second and Third Place pies.

This event will take place on Saturday, October 26th at the Westfield Beach (Brundage Point ferry) where we will set up at 8:00 a.m., with a launch time of 9:00 a.m.

Lots of parking available.

Come dress in your best witch / warlock attire with a towel and blanket for afterwards.

This will be a fundraising event partnering with the Grand Bay food bank. Donations of nonperishable food items are welcome.

This event is hosted by the Westfield and District Recreation Association, in partnership with the Grand Bay-Westfield Fall Fest.

Halls of Terror is a haunted attraction which begins as family-friendly with a natural exit before the creepy begins for the little ones, or faint of heart. The further you get into the depths of the halls, the more terrifying it gets.

About Halls of Terror (formerly Trail of Terror)

The Grand Bay-Westfield Trail of Terror began in 2021 with the dedication and commitment of River Valley Community Centre (RVCC) Recreation and Scare to Care SJ.

With its new location in 2023 at River Valley Middle School, the event is now known as Halls of Terror – presented by River Valley Middle School Home and School, in partnership with the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield.
