Join us for our next Age‑Friendly Speaker Series featuring Shera Hanson, a pharmacist currently with The Medicine Shoppe – bringing 28 years of experience across community practice, palliative care, long‑term care, seniors’ health, and addiction. Shera will deliver an overview of acute pain management, including the appropriate use of oral analgesics, the clinical value of topical analgesics, and persistent misconceptions surrounding over‑the‑counter Nonsteroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) and their gastrointestinal and cardiovascular risks.
