Councillor-Elect Keri Burpee sworn in as a member of Town Council

At a Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Council meeting on December 12, 2022, Councillor-Elect Keri Burpee was sworn in as a member of Town Council, by John Enns-Wind, Chief Administrative Officer/Clerk.

Councillor-Elect Burpee will officially begin her term on Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Council on January 1, 2023.

Background

On January 1, 2023, as part of the provincial local governance reform process, the new local government of Grand Bay-Westfield will be formed. It will include the current Town of Grand Bay-Westfield (Ward 1) and a portion of the Local Service District (LSD) of Westfield West (Ward 2) focused on areas along and off Brittain and Campbell Road.

On November 28, 2022, Councillor-Elect Burpee was acclaimed as the Councillor for Ward 2.
