At the Regular Council Meeting of October 25, 2021 Council approved the adoption and implementation, with funding to be determined, of the Parks and Recreation Comprehensive Master Plan. The plan was presented by RC Strategies following approximately 6 months of community consultation, research and planning.
“Our Parks and Recreation Master Plan isn’t just a document that will sit on a shelf and gather dust. It is a truly innovative plan which includes not just a roadmap for the future of Parks and Recreation in our Town, but also decision making tools and frameworks that will guide us in good and relevant decision making on amenities, programs and polices.” says Mayor Merrifield.
