6 new streetlights installed in Ward 2

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield remains committed to its Strategic Priority of Infrastructure and Climate Adaptation.

At the Council Meeting on February 21, 2023, Town Council approved the installation of new streetlights (on existing poles), at the following locations in Ward 2, a portion of the former Local Service District of Westfield West.

One (1) at the intersection of Campbell Road and Route 102;
One (1) at the bus stop at Brittain Road and Davies Drive;
One (1) at the bus stop at Birch Crescent and Cedar Drive;
One (1) where Brittain Road and Crandall Road form a “Y”; and
Two (2) near the former Lonewater Farm entrance.

The installation of these streetlights will enhance visibility in these areas for students, motorists, pedestrians, and cyclists.
