The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield remains committed to its strategic priority of infrastructure sand climate adaptation.
The annual sanitary sewer main flushing program is scheduled to begin on September 16, 2024.
About the Sewer Main Flushing Program
High-pressure flushing equipment is used to clean the sewer line with high-pressure water. The debris is then vacuumed from the manhole with a high-powered vacuum hose. This annual program performs proactive maintenance for the prevention of sewer back-ups across the entire municipal sewer system.
