The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield is accepting applications for the fall 2023 community grant program.
The Town may provide community grants in limited amounts to individuals, groups, and organizations for a particular purpose consistent with the aims and objectives of the Town.

Background
At a Council meeting on February 21, 2023, Town Council approved additional funding from the Council Discretionary Fund for the annual Community Grant Program. The original budget application included $1 per resident for a total of $5,866 for 2023. Given some recent program applications from potential partners and other discretionary funding applications received annually, it was recommended that this be increased to $2 per resident for 2023, using a transfer from the Council Discretionary Fund. The increase will allow the Community Grant Committee the ability to consider value in-kind (VIK) for Town services, and space as part of the application process. The total funding for grant applications will be $11,732 with approximately 50% distributed in May, and 50% distributed in October.
