The Naming Committee of Entity 51 determines names to be included on voting ballot

The Naming Committee of Entity 51 asked residents, organizations and businesses within the boundaries of Entity 51 to submit name ideas for the governing body (local government) of Entity 51. A total of 369 name submissions were received. Of the 369 submissions, 116 were unique names.

At a Naming Committee of Entity 51 meeting held on April 6, 2022, the Committee determined the following names to be on the voting ballot.

These names have been approved by the Province.

Listed alphabetically

Grand Bay-Westfield (pre-determined)
Hillandale
Nerepis Valley
Three Rivers
Westfield

During the week of April 11, 2022, complete voting details will be communicated to residents and businesses within the boundaries of Entity 51 via the Town website, Town social media accounts, mailers (flyers) sent to each residence and business, and on www.entity51.ca
