Councillor Keri Burpee first joined Town Council in January 2023, representing Ward 2, and now has the honour to serve a second term with the new Council team.
Born in Saint John, her family moved to the Grand Bay-Westfield area when she was two. Keri’s family and many friends also live in the area. She has a vested interest in the well-being of the community.
After studying in the field of Interior Design, and working in the construction and retail design industry over the last twenty-five years, Keri and her husband now own and operate a small renovation and design company.
Keri is very active in the community, volunteering on several committees and organizations including Grand Bay-Westfield’s Community Vitality Committee, Youth Council Committee, Westfield & District Recreation Association, as well as Big Brothers-Big Sisters PALS Program.
Keri is creative and resourceful and is a “hands-on” hard worker. She loves walking, spending time with friends, her husband Glen, and two daughters Hilary and Hannah. She is also a big animal lover, especially dogs and her German Shepherd, Molly.
Keri is looking forward to continuing the work on Council, volunteering, and being a part of the community. This is an important community service role, and she is proud to be a part of it.
