Grand Bay-Westfield RCMP, in partnership with the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield, to host a Bike Rodeo to remind youth of the importance of bicycle safety

The Grand Bay-Westfield RCMP, in partnership with the Town of Grand Bay Westfield, will be hosting a free Bike Rodeo to remind youth and families of the importance of bicycle safety.

When: Saturday, June 18, 2022

River Valley Community Center (RVCC)
749 River Valley Drive, Grand Bay-Westfield, NB (lower parking lot)

11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Ages:
All ages are welcome
What to bring: Your bicycle, helmet and a guardian

There will also be a random draw for a chance to win a bike.

11:00 a.m.
Bike safety talk presented by RCMP

11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m.
BBQ (while supplies last), bike donation drop-off, bike safety check-ups and helmet fitting

11:15 a.m.
Bike stations begin (Bicycle, helmet and a guardian required for obstacle course)

12:00 Noon
“Bling Your Bike” judging. Kids are encouraged to decorate their bicycles to participate in “Bling Your Bike.” Anything goes! Think of it as a costume party for bicycles, with the most imaginative entries winning prizes.

In the event of rain, the Bike Rodeo will take place inside the RVCC.
