Summer Student (Works Department)

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield is currently seeking one (1) summer student, an Engineering Assistant. Applicants require daily access to a vehicle for field inspections. Vehicle usage will be reimbursed at 40 cents per kilometer paid monthly.

Salary: $13.00/hour
Hours: 35 hours/week (including special events such as Canada Day, as required)
Dates: April 25 (or as soon as available) until August 26, 2022

Summer Students (Brundage Point River Centre)

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield is currently seeking summer students for the Brundage Point River Centre and Visitor Information Centre services. The Visitor Information/Event Supervisors are responsible for promoting Grand Bay-Westfield, greeting tourists, providing tourist information and supervising both rental and Town events.

Salary: $13.00/hour
Hours: 40 hours/week (includes evenings, weekends and holidays).
Languages: English: Both written and verbal. Bilingualism: French and English considered an asset.
