11:00 a.m. at Brundage Point River Centre – 4 Ferry Road, Grand Bay-Westfield
Grand Bay-Westfield is honoured to invite attendees to learn about and participate in a smudge, facilitated by an Indigenous community member. To learn more about a smudge, visit here. Following the smudge, will be the Land Acknowledgement and opening remarks by Mayor Brittany Merrifield, and the singing of the National Anthem.

Live music entertainment (Matt Currie Band), rock climbing wall, bouncy castle, obstacle course, henna tattoos, face painting, tie dye (bring your own shirt), basketball, BBQ, treats, prizes – and more!
Donations accepted: Non-perishable food items for the local food bank as well as eyeglasses for the River Valley Lions.
Parking: Accessible parking only at Brundage Point River Centre. Parking available at Westfield Elementary School.

Unity Park decorated for Canada Day weekend
The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Community Vitality Committee invites you to visit Unity Park which has been decorated for the Canada Day weekend. The Canada Day decorations provide a backdrop for photographs of yourself, family, friends and pets. The decorations will remain until the evening of Sunday, July 3. Unity Park is located at the intersection of Nerepis Road and Mullen Lane.
Grand Bay-Westfield Canada Day Photo Contest

The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield wants you to show us how you celebrate Canada Day with photographs of yourself, family, friends and/or pets – dressed in red and white, a family BBQ, decorations, kayaking or even a Canada Day dessert you baked. This contest is open to Grand Bay-Westfield residents only from July 1, 2022 at 12:01 a.m. until July 3, 2022 at 11:59 p.m. The random draw for a chance to win 1 of 3 prizes will take place on Monday, July 4. Each winner will receive one (1) Adirondack chair and one (1) seasonal flower arrangement. For details on how to submit photographs as well as contest rules and regulations, visit here.
Brundage Point River Centre boat launch and parking lot will be temporarily closed for Canada Day activities
The Brundage Point River Centre boat launch and parking lot will be temporarily closed and gated on Thursday, June 30 at 8:00 p.m., and will re-open on Friday, July 1 at 5:00 p.m. The boat launch located at the Westfield Wharf (north side of the ferry landing) will be available for use. The Town of Grand Bay-Westfield apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
