The Council of the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield under authority vested in it by section 163 of the Municipalities Act, enacts as follows:
TITLE
This By-Law may be cited as the Town of Grand Bay-Westfield Pension Plan Designation By-Law.
The Council hereby declares that the uniform contributory pension plan adopted by the Town of Grand Bay pursuant to the Uniform Contributory Pension Plan Regulation – Municipalities Act, being Regulation 81-34 of the Municipalities Act (the “Act”) is designated as the pension plan of the Municipality of Grand Bay-Westfield, as required by section 163 (2.4)(b) of the Act.
EFFECTIVE DATE
By-Law No. 11, A By-Law of the Municipality of Grand Bay-Westfield to establish a Pension Plan Designation By-Law shall come into effect on the first day of January, 1998 (the “effective date”).
As of the effective date, the uniform contributory pension plan is continued as the pension plan of the Municipality of Grand Bay-Westfield.
